Prof. M. Ram Murty

The theory of automorphic forms constitutes a central theme in Number theory as well as Arithmetic Geometry. This conference aims at bringing some of the leading exponents to highlight the recent developments around the analytic aspects of this theory. We also plan to have a number of young researchers and graduate students to take part and interact with these experts. On another note, we take this opportunity to felicitate Professor Ram Murty on his turning sixty this year and honor both his contributions to the subject as well as his untiring efforts in developing Number theory in India.

Interested Research scholars, who are working in the related theme of this conference, may apply, along with their CV and one reference letter, to automorph [at] imsc.res.in on or before 06th October, 2013. We have limited slots for research scholars due to shortage of funds.
