This academic
years 2008-11 has been declared as ``Special Year in Mathematics'' in
the School of Mathematics at HRI. During this period, we expect many
distinguished
mathematicians to visit us. Apart from special lectures and compact
courses, there will be many discussion
meetings and conferences during this period. The following activities
were done under SYM project.

on ``Modular Forms'' during August, 2010 (Partially supported by SYM
Project) held at Mamallapuram, Chennai.
- ICM Satelite Conference
on ``Analytical and Combinatorial Number Theory'' held at IMSc, Chennai
during 29th August to 4th September, 2010 (Partially supported by SYM
Project).
