Research Summary:

Models of extra spatial dimension(s), ADD and RS, proposed as a resolution of the wellknown electroweak hierarchy problem, draws a lot of attention for the last couple of years. A lot of phenomenological studies has been made in both of these models. In the model of warped quantum gravity (RS type), we (Prasanta Kumar Das and Prof. Uma Mahanta of HRI, Allahabad) have made some studies comprising radion (an essential ingredient of this model) phenomenology. One such study is to check the triviality bound on Higgs mass in the presence of a light stabilized radion. We observed that such a bound changes significantly due to this radion. In another study, we (Prasanta Kumar Das , Prof. Uma Mahanta) have found the contribution of a light radion in the framework of RS model.

In another work, we (Prasanta Kumar Das and Prof. Biswarup Mukhopadhya of HRI, Allahabad) have investigated the Higgs pair production due to radion resonance at LHC and we found significant enhancement inthe Higgs pair production cross-section.

Besides these in another work, we (Prasanta Kumar Das , Prof. Uma Mahanta and Dr. Sreerup Raychaudhuri) have put some constraints on some torsional parameters from the precision measurement of the recent BNL muon anomaly.

Presently, in Kansas, USA along with the Collaborator Prof. Douglas Mckay, I am looking the production rate of the exotic quark (D) at LHC in the framework of $3-3-1$ model and the role of radion in enhancing such cross-section. In another collaboration, I, along with Prof. Mckay and Prof. John Ralston of Kansas University, am looking for the blackhole production rate at Neutrino Telescope ( RICE experiment). Both of these works are going on at present.
