Research Summary:

I have studied stringy symmetries and compactifications when fluxes are turned on. We have generated various new classical solutions using these symmetries and have studied their spacetime properties. Notable amongst them are the supersymmetric (D6,D8) brane bound-state supergravity solutions with nonvanishing $B_{\mu\nu}$-field.
