The Campus
The meeting will be held in the picturesque campus of the Harish-Chandra Research Institute, situated in the outskirts of Allahabad, a city in India. The campus is on the banks of the confluence of two major rivers in India, the Ganga and the Yamuna. The local weather at the time of the meeting is expected to be cool (by tropical standards) and pleasant, with the minimum temperature ranging between 10 and 12 degrees Celsius. No rainfall is usually expected at the time of the meeting. The institute is expected to look its best during this time with all the winter flowers blooming.
There are nice pathways to walk around campus and see plenty of birds, including peacocks.

The City
Allahabad is a city in the state of Uttar Pradesh (UP) in the North-Central part of India. It is situated near the confluence of the two major rivers of north India: the Ganga (Ganges) and the Yamuna (or Jamuna). It is at the site of the ancient city of Prayag, literally meaning confluence of two rivers. It is also home to the Nehru family, of which Jawaharlal Nehru was the first Prime Minister of independent India. Currently, it is the seat of the High Court of the state of UP. Nearby Attractions
In case you wish to visit interesting places nearby, there are plenty of options. The ancient city of Varanasi is about 120 KMs from Allahabad. Agra, home to the famous Taj Mahal, is about 8 hours by train. The Khajuraho temples are also close by. There are flights from Varanasi to Khajuraho.
