Local Information

The conference will be held in the picturesque campus of Harish-Chandra Research Institute, situated in the outskirts of Allahabad, a city in Northern India. The campus is on the banks of the confluence of two major rivers in India, Ganga and Yamuna. The local weather at the time of the meeting is expected to be cool and pleasant, with the minimum temperature ranging between 6 and 12 degrees Celsius. Allahabad is connected by overnight trains to Delhi and Kolkata; the nearest Airport is located at Varanasi which is about 125 kilometers from the campus.

This city is known to witness a very warm climate in the months of summers and winters are equally chilly. Its close proximity to the Himalayan region and the fact that this region lies in the great plains of India also makes it prone to cold winds during the months of winter that stretches from the month of October to March.
