Hi,
I am currently working as an Honorary Professor at the Harish-chandra Research Institute working in the field of condensed matter physics.
I expect to move to the International Centre of Theoretical Sciences for a 5 year position as soon as the pandemic allows it!
I officially retired on 31-12-2020 after working as a faculty member of HRI from 1995 to 2020.
I moved here from the Institute of Physics in Bhubaneswar in July 1995 after being on the faculty there for eight years.
My world line includes an undergraduate education at the Maharaja Sayajirao University at Vadodara, a postgraduate education at the Indian Institute of Technology, Mumbai and a Ph.D. in 1983 from the State university of New York at Stonybrook New York, in the USA.
I was also a post-doctoral fellow at
Fermilab
in Chicago from 1983-86
and a post-doctoral fellow at the
University of Wisconsin
at Madison from 1986-87.
