Centre for String Interactions

The Centre will be organising a school on "String Field Theory and String Phenomenology" from February 5 to 9, 2018. It will be followed by a discussion meeting on "String Field Theory and String Phenomenology" from February 11 to 15, 2018.

Harish-Chandra Research Institute is located in the small town of Jhusi by the river Ganga. It is located amidst rural surroundings, which adds to the idyllic charm of the neighbourhood, and to the serene life on campus. Far from the hustle and bustle of the city of Allahabad, the surroundings provide perfect atmosphere for contemplation for the residents of the institute.

Members at Harish-Chandra Research Institute work in mathematics and theoretical physics. The centre for string interactions is a group in theoretical physics department working on string theory and related topics like, supersymmetric gauge theories, holography, etc. At present the centre for string interactions has 6 permanent members, 5 post-doctoral fellows and 6 graduate students.
